You will need tissue papers which are multi-colored when making paper flowers, depending on the colors you want, and a bunch of pipe cleaners for the stem. They arrive in the colour green so you will not have to do anything with it. If you cannot discover pipe cleaners in your area, you may use regular wires and just wrap it with green floral tape that may be bought at your regional craft shop. Be sure however that your wire is not so thick you cannot bend it readily. You will also need scissors for this project. For Those People Who Are doing this job with their kids, remind them to be careful and to not cut themselves
To start creating paper flowers, choose five sheets of this paper in various colors; be certain to put them on top of one another and their sides are aligned. Fold them in two to make it seem like a rectangle. At the center of this rectangle, then cut a small V-shape to make a diamond cut on the center if you unfold your tissue paper. Gently pull on the tissue paper upward one at a time. Crumple the tissue paper to give it more texture and to make it appear fluffier.
